"Hi! I’m Kierstin Madsen, artist & owner of MPE Designs located in gorgeous Southern Utah.

I have been creating art and jewelry professionally since 2011 and found the guts to start my own brand and business in 2018. It has been an incredible journey! I would not be where I am today without my amazing husband, family, friends and of course customers.

I became interested in metal working during a high school jewelry class and then dedicated my upper division education to learn the art of metal-smithing, casting and sculpture. From then through today, nature, symbolism, folklore, sacred traditions and texts have always caught my interest and fascinated me. This fascination can be seen in my goods as I use different geometric shapes, natural semiprecious stones, ancient techniques, and even nature herself to help me create

Everything I create begins after a period of contemplation that then is mindfully embodied into an object of connection. Each piece of jewelry, art or apparel is meant to reawaken and empower a sense of self that lays dormant in us all.
